Every year, you'll find us proudly riding in the Chrissy Mallouf Real Estate Group float, waving to neighbors, handing out candy, and celebrating alongside our community before ending the day at the Denton Noon Kiwanis Fireworks Show. Denton
Saturday, July 4
Celebrate the Fourth of July the Denton way with a full day of hometown traditions! The festivities kick off at 9:00 a.m. with the annual Yankee Doodle Parade around the historic Downtown Square, where you'll find patriotic floats, local organizations, and plenty of community spirit. Then, head to the North Texas Fairgrounds for an evening of family fun, featuring food vendors, live music by Raised Right Men, and activities for all ages. Gates open at 6:00 p.m., live music begins at 7:00 p.m., and the night concludes with a spectacular fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. Admission is free, with $10 parking at the fairgrounds.
Flower Mound
Saturday, July 4
Celebrate America's birthday at one of North Texas' premier Fourth of July events! Flower Mound's Independence Fest is an all-day celebration that begins with the beloved Children's Parade, complete with face painting, live entertainment, and free hot dogs. The festivities continue at Bakersfield Park from 5:00–10:30 p.m., where you'll find live performances by Emerald City Band, Le Freak, and country music star Gabby Barrett, along with food trucks, vendor booths, a classic car show, and a kid-friendly activity zone. The evening concludes with Flower Mound's largest fireworks show ever, celebrating America's 250th birthday. Best of all, the evening festivities, fireworks, and off-site parking are free.
Little Elm
Saturday, July 4
Spend your Fourth of July lakeside at one of North Texas' most popular Independence Day celebrations! Red, White & Beach at Little Elm Park offers a full day of family fun, including live music, food trucks, beach activities, and the largest fireworks show over Lewisville Lake. Gates open at 9:00 a.m., with the Gone To Texas Band performing from 5:00–9:30 p.m. before the fireworks light up the lake around 9:30 p.m. Whether you're relaxing on the beach, enjoying great food, or taking in the incredible waterfront views, this is a can't-miss way to celebrate the Fourth. Admission and parking passes are required, so be sure to reserve your spot in advance.
Lewisville
Wednesday, July 1
Kick off your Independence Day celebrations early at Red White & Lewisville, the grand finale of the city's popular Sounds of Lewisville concert series. Held at Wayne Ferguson Plaza in the heart of Old Town Lewisville, this free, family-friendly event features live music from Justin Till and headliner Texas Flood, plus a Kids' Zone, food vendors, and plenty of community fun. The evening wraps up with a patriotic drone show and low-level fireworks display, creating a unique and memorable celebration. The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, and admission is free—just bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy an evening of music and patriotic entertainment.
Frisco
Friday/Saturday, July 3-4
Celebrate Independence Day at one of North Texas' largest Fourth of July celebrations! Frisco Freedom Fest is a two-day patriotic event, with the main festivities taking place on Saturday, July 4, at Riders Field. The free Freedom Fest Block Party runs from 5:00–10:00 p.m. and features live music, a classic car show, family-friendly activities, hometown hero exhibits, delicious food vendors, and a patriotic opening ceremony at 6:00 p.m. The evening concludes with a spectacular fireworks show around 10:00 p.m. following the Frisco RoughRiders game. For those looking to make a full day of it, the celebration also includes the Party in the USA 5K and a cornhole tournament earlier in the day.
The Colony
Saturday, July 4
Make a day of it at Liberty By The Lake, one of North Texas' favorite Fourth of July celebrations! The festivities begin with the Liberty 5K & Fun Run and Independence Day Parade before the evening festival kicks off at 6:00 p.m. at The Athletic Club. Enjoy live music, carnival rides, food vendors, a business expo, a Lucha Libre wrestling show, and the always-popular Watermelon Eating Contest. The celebration wraps up with a spectacular fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. honoring America's 250th birthday. Best of all, festival admission is free, making it a fun-filled destination for the whole family.
Sensory Sensitive 4th of July

Looking for a quieter way to celebrate the Fourth? The Sensory Sensitive 4th of July Celebration at The Sound at Cypress Waters offers a calm, inclusive experience designed for individuals with autism, sensory sensitivities, veterans, and even pets. Held on Friday, July 3, from 5:00–10:00 p.m., this free event features live music with controlled sound levels, face painting, balloon artists, animal encounters, arts and crafts, and designated Calm Zones for anyone needing a break. Instead of traditional fireworks, the evening concludes with Star Spangled Glow—a stunning animated light and projection show that delivers all the patriotic fun without the loud noises. It's a thoughtful and welcoming celebration where everyone can enjoy Independence Day together.
